Class size is limited. Your application materials will be reviewed upon receipt. You will then be notified shortly regarding acceptance into the program. Applications must be received by May 15, 2008 for consideration.

Admissions Criteria

A prospective participant who wishes to obtain the Master of Science in Recreation and Sport Sciences with a concentration in Coaching Education degree from Ohio University must meet the following admission standards:

1. Earned a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
2. Minimum overall undergraduate grade-point average (g.p.a.) of 2.70 on a 4.0 scale on last 90 quarter hours or last 60 semester hours.
3. Satisfactory Graduate Record Examination (GRE) Scores. In lieu of the GRE admission requirement, the student must have minimum three years of coaching experience (GRE scores are not required but will be considered if they are submitted)
